I have a hobby farm and take left over food from bakeries and fruit shops for my animals. Its amazing how much waste there is, great food, the animals love it. It is a shame that we live in such a throw away society. Some animals dont even see grass, yet we throw out boxes of lettuce, cauliflowers etc every day.

Huh? there’s a simple solution – make restaurants serve less and charge less and everyone will be a winner! i’d be more than happy to pay half the price for half the food; but will they do that? nope, piling plates and charging heaps is de rig for the typical restaurant :(
